Ten thousand Canadians on electoral cooperation & reform

The online activist group Leadnow.ca surveyed its members and found this result:

This could be the start of something big.

Last Thursday, we sent a message to the whole Leadnow community. We asked if you would support political cooperation between the NDP, Liberals and Greens to defeat the current government in the next election, and then pass electoral reform. Almost 10,000 responded. 95% said yes, with an astounding 72% “strongly agreeing”.

Now, as the NDP and Liberals choose their new leaders, we urgently need to turn that incredible support into real action.

Here's the graph of the results:

Let's see if the wish of 60% of NDP supporters and 60% of Liberal supporters will have an influence on the choice of the new NDP.

The candidates have a wide range of views, from Mulcair's refusal to consider pre-election or post-election cooperation of any sort and unwillingness to put a high value on electoral reform, through Nathan Cullen, who is diametrically opposed to Mulcair on these three issues.
Canada waits.
